Mezcal Espresso
Ingredients
- Mezcal (ideally Espadín Joven or Espadín Capón)
- Freshly brewed espresso
- Coffee liqueur (Kahlúa, Mr. Black, or similar)
- Agave syrup
Preparation
- Combine the mezcal, espresso, coffee liqueur, and agave syrup in a shaker with plenty of ice
- Vigorously for 12–15 seconds to create the foam.
- Filter into a chilled coupette or martini glass.
Tasting notes
Madrecuixe 48° — 17 years
Nose: White pepper, fresh leather, wet stone, dried grass.
Palate: Impeccably round, with a saline touch, stewed herbs, and clove on the finish.
